FYI: vikki dougan is alive and lives in beverly hills. she goes to a movie theater near where i work and i have talked to her several times. she is still very good looking ! and she is very fiendly too, not stuck up acting at all. she told me she set up a website a few years ago but abandoned it because she doesn’t know how to use a computer.

Holy cow. I used to have this album. Don’t know what the hell ever happened to it but I’m glad that I found this site. I’d been trying for years to figure out who ‘Vickie Dugan’ was and finally Googled ‘Actress Model Mother Vickie Dugan’. Mystery solved. I used to sample bits of the record and drop them into my music :D

Vikki Dougan (spelled several different ways), known professionally in the1950s as Vikki “The Back” Dugan, was a starlet who got a lot of press for awhile. In every movie she made, VD wore high-necked dresses that plunged to the nether regions in the back. The only movie I can think of in which she appeared was Universal’s “The Tattered Dress.” Hope this fills things in a little bit.

The Limeliters recorded a tribute to Ms. Dougan’s obvious assets on an RCA LP “The (Slightly) Fabulous Limeliters” (live) (1960-61)—“Vikki Dougan” (Vikki Turn Your Back On Me) made me laugh 45 yrs ago and it still does today…
